Report Card
Every once and awhile we will be too lazy to give Riggs a bath and take him to the groomer to get a bath instead. The groomer gives you a report card on your dog that covers various things like how his skin and coat looked, his teeth, his ears, his mood, etc...
Riggs typically scores high in most categories but every time the same comment comes back:
"Riggs does not like the dryer"
After they give a dog a bath they have some dryer to dry the dog faster and apparently Riggs total freaks out. Must be that whole wind issue with him.

Temper Tantrum
As you all are well aware, Riggs HATES taking a bath. Keeping him in the tub is a constant battle and drying him off is pretty much a lost cause. Although we really don't need to dry him off because as soon as that bathroom door opens he proceeds to air dry himself by throwing a temper tantrum like a two year old.

Wash rinse repeat
So as much as Riggs hated baths before he really hates them now. To get him over this skin issue we have to lather him up with shampoo and it has to stay on him for 10 mins. After we rinse him off, we lather him up with conditioner and that has to sit on him for another 10 mins before being washed off. You should see the strange looks we get when we take Riggs for a walk around the neighborhood to keep him distracted. All they see is a dog that looks like he ran through a car wash and is covered in suds but did not bother to rinse off.

How many times do I need to tell you
Dear Mama & Dada,
How many times do I have to make this pathetic face every time you give me a bath before you get a clue and figure out that baths suck and I don't like them.
Yours truly,
Riggs

Are you sure we don’t own a cat? (Part 1)
One thing is very apparent. Riggs does NOT like the water. Giving him a bath in the tub today was a challenge to say the least. Fortunate for mama, he is not big enough yet to be able to crawl out of the tub. I could hear all sorts of commotion in the bathroom and took a peak in there to see what was going on.
After he was done and dried off, the door was open and he bolted out of there. Riggs was running up and down the hallway over and over obviously throwing a temper tantrum. Such a baby.
