Fetch does not work this way

Riggs if you bring me a stuffed animal and I throw it and then you go get it you need to bring it back to me and let go so I can toss it again.  Riggs understands the concept of fetch just not the concept of letting go of it when he brings it back.  Instead he turns a game of fetch into a game of tug of war.  Playing tug of war with stuffed animals will not make them last very long but then again maybe you are wanting to play tug of war with them on purpose so you can try to get to the stuffing inside of them.
